Parenting with Depression: Coping Skills Printable Review
Last week I wrote a post about how moms and dads can be an amazing parent with depression. It’s all about finding coping skills that work and I offered some pretty good ideas. I also created a parenting with depression printable for you to use as a reminder.
You can print and hang this somewhere that is visible throughout the day so it’s there whenever you need it most. I laminated the one I printed out for myself so it will last foreva. I also thought of you and added extra spaces for you to write in your own ideas.

Finding a location for my parenting with depression printable was really easy for me. If you are having a hard time deciding where yours should go don’t fret, take your time, and find that special spot. It’s important to have visual reminders within an area you are at the most so keep this in mind.
My favorite place to hang out is at the bar in my dining room. This is usually where I sit for breakfast and get to work on my to do list for the day. I have everything within reaching distance which is wonderful for my pregnant body.
Lounging in my room was a bad habit I wanted to quit. I purchased bar stools and I love sitting at my bar while working. To liven up my room, I am going to print another coping skills sheet and frame it for my bedroom. I feel like this is a great way to keep the motivation where depression usually begins.
Being a parent is so hard and I commend you for being brave enough to bring your littles into this world. Depression can cloud your day and make you feel guilty when you are unable to give them your best. But you know what?
It’s okay!
If you are open to motivation, I have created a printable for you to print out and hang up as a way to remind you of the options you do have. You don’t have to do this alone and you have so many ways to cope when feeling sad. Subscribe below to receive your free printable and to connect with me personally.
