Our July Baby Registry Haul: Amazon Welcome Box

As of this Wednesday, I am officially 20 weeks pregnant with our fifth child Baby Rue.

Yay!! Takes deep breath. I am almost there!

Starting from the bottom prepping with a minimalistic plan is the best way not to break my bank. I mentioned in my how to get a Welcome Box post that I came up with a plan to collect freebies. This box was the first things I signed up for and I thought it would be really cool to share the unboxing.

If you are expecting I recommend you take this opportunity to get your own box by reading my post on how to claim yours here. It is super simple to do and it takes little time to complete the 7 steps I outline for you in the post. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Shall we proceed…

Baby Registry Items

Rumparooz cloth diaper covers are what I bought and I got in the mail first. The purchase of $10 or more on my Baby Registry was required in order to get my Amazon Welcome Box. You can read about that here.

I chose the colors Sherbert, Sweet, Tokisweet Mint Chip, and Aquarius. I got (2) One Size covers and (2) Newborn covers. Rumparooz selection of prints and colors was really refreshing compared to disposable diapers.

Baby Rue’s belongings will be gray and white but I decided to buy her diapers in different colors. The designs on the Toki covers and the names of the diapers (names below images) are so cute. I also bought a pack of 5 flour sack towels from Walmart to use as my flats and a set of snappis.

Amazon Welcome Box

Drumroll please…

Tada. The Amazon Welcome Box!

I was thrilled to get this full size sample box in the mail. This is the biggest box of samples I have ever received so I was eager to see what was in it. I had a little idea from watching Youtubers but they seem to switch out products every once in awhile.

The first few products that I opened were sample products like diapers, wipes, lotion, detergent, and coupons. I do not use either of these detergents or the disposable diapers so I put these aside for my sister. She just had a baby boy who could really use them now and I am always try to help her whenever I can.

I did however receive a full package of Huggies Natural Care wipes which I purchase regularly for my kiddos. It is unusual to get a regular size pack of wipes  than to get the mini diaper bag packs so that was very considerate of them.

Above all these three items were my favorite part of the unboxing! The body suit by Moon and Back, a muslin swaddle blanket by Swaddle Designs, and the bandana bib by Hudson Baby all were full size samples. Amazon took the time to consider that parents could be expecting either gender and made sure to include  neutral colors.

The gray and white bib, body suit, muslin blanket fit perfectly into Baby Rue’s wardrobe. The muslin blanket was the item I was really hoping for and pleased to receive. Spending $30 for three of these blankets seems crazy but it makes it better when I can get one for free.

Now I have one for free and saved about $35 or more on baby items on my list.
