Cin from Thee Milk Barr inspired me to rewrite a post she posted called 5 things I hate about motherhood. I don’t think hate is a strong enough word for this post because some of these things are downright explosive. Don’t give me that judgement face because as a parent you know what I am talking about. In the parental community we need to stop acting like their isn’t any hate where our love resides because realistically this is the natural order of things. So I say with honor and conviction that I absolutely hate the 5 things about motherhood that I listed below. 1. Anxiety/Guilt Motherhood is that time when you develop obnoxious anxiety and guilt about being so crazy. You give birth to gremlins and every single second of their lives their mission is to drive you nuts by attempting to kill themselves. After freaking out you feel…
As of this Wednesday, I am officially 20 weeks pregnant with our fifth child Baby Rue. Yay!! Takes deep breath. I am almost there! Starting from the bottom prepping with a minimalistic plan is the best way not to break my bank. I mentioned in my how to get a Welcome Box post that I came up with a plan to collect freebies. This box was the first things I signed up for and I thought it would be really cool to share the unboxing. If you are expecting I recommend you take this opportunity to get your own box by reading my post on how to claim yours here. It is super simple to do and it takes little time to complete the 7 steps I outline for you in the post. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Shall we proceed… **I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates…
The Adventures of Bunny and Cookie continues with these two cuties taking a walk outside. I love it when my 2 y.o is talking to my 4 y.o about what she is doing and the she responds with so much excitement. She has been using a lot more words and creating longer sentences to communicate with her siblings. My favorite moments from the two of them are similar to the moment in the meme below.
The Amazon Baby Registry Welcome Box was my favorite because they offered full size samples from some really good brands and it seemed that they worked with different brands every so often. Once I learned the simplicity of getting my hands on my very own box I begin the process. I completed the steps, my box in the mail arrived in the mail, and I crossed off some items on my list for the baby all for free. I loved it this freebie so much that I figured other expecting moms should know how easy it is to get one.
According to HER Foundation website , Hyperemesis Gravidarum is a severe form of nausea and vomitting in pregnancy. It can be so bad that women lose vital nutrients to sustain life of the fetus or both her and the fetus. HG can also bring about mental and emotional symptoms such as depression and anxiety.
I hope that you are all having a lovely Wednesday even though it is hotter than the kitchen oven on 500 degrees. Stay safe and stay hydrated! Scrolling down my Twitter timeline I see all these mamas taking their kiddos out on adventures and I felt momspired (mom + inspired) to begin sharing my cartoon/comic series for kids today called "The Adventures of Bunny and Cookie.
Motherhood...is a mix between the Hunger Games and some weird version of Alice and Wonderland sending you down a rabbit hole into a world that challenges your sanity. Around every corner there is a test that can put a really large fork in your road and up in the trees is your child’s face whispering dinner request.
